Abstract Asphalt demand for road maintenance in Indonesia is increasingly higher, which by approximately 1.2 million tons each year. However around 2/3 asphalt functioned now still imported. Buton can be straighthly used coating. Yet, it goes line with the increasing cost of world oil. Due to oil substance over this kind (i.e. buton asphalt), widens more chances cultivate into Extraction done process hot water extraction and solvent extraction. This research tried determine optimum yield bitumen from n-heksan help strirring. as variabel buton. The operation variables were temperature, time, amount mixed solvent. result suggested that using didn’t generate extract because low temperatur tension. Therefore % bitumen. For rasio 1 : 5 a temperature 60 °C, time 30 minutes 2,12 %, ratio at 90 °C 4,84 20 3,07 %.
